Get to Know Jenna

Hi there! My name is Jenna Jury, and ever since I became a mom, I have been excited about this parenting gig.

Throughout my journey as a mom I have learned so much about what works, what doesn’t. I have been in the trenches and forced to grow as a mom and a person.

A year and a half ago I graduated with my Master of Arts in Positive Psychology and Life Coaching and man did I learn so much about the foundations of Positive Psychology. I began to ask myself, can positive psychology be used in parenting? The short answer? Of course it can!

I am so excited to work with moms who like me may have found themselves in the trenches but want so much more out of there parenthood than just getting through.

Grieving as a Parent Feels Impossible

Sometimes in life we don’t get the happily ever after. Sometimes we have to face the incredibly challenging burden of burying our own child. When this happens, it’s human nature to want to throw in the towel. Grieving your own child is isolating, challenging, and in all honestly, makes you question what purpose you have for even staying on earth. Ben and I wrote a book for those struggling with their faith after the loss of a child. Navigating the journey alone is difficult. That is why we wanted to be a resource for those who maybe just want to hear, you’re not alone.

“What a great testimony of faith and love”

“What a great testimony of faith and love. I was very impressed with how raw the emotions are shown. I would definitely recommend this to someone who has experienced a loss or to someone who has doubts about how God is always there for you, no matter what the situation.”

“Real, raw emotions

Very real emotions are portrayed in this book. Their scars are ripped open as they share the tragedy of losing their firstborn son and their journey of faith as they heal from that loss. This is a great book for anyone who is grieving, even being from losing a parent, brother or sister. This is an excellent read!

“Very touching story”

Very touching book with honest emotions from two different perspectives as they went through any parent’s worst nightmare. Both Benjamin and Jenna explore their process of dealing with tragedy, how each turned to God in different ways and in different times of their healing. Through this book you can feel the love they have for each other and their faith.
